TV Show "Buy My Trouble"
TV show ,,Bėdų turgus" is a project of LRT - National Lithuanian Radio and Television, successfully active for 10 years already. It is a charitable talk show, during which, the needy, people in trouble, ill or the disabled tell "the story of their need", and the show editors find the "buyers" for their "need", i.e. individuals or companies willing to offer financial support to the needy.
National Lithuanian Television offers a free right to show the logos of sponsors and to briefly represent the activity of the sponsoring company.
Reportages on the our guests are presented during the show, whereas later conversation is continued in studio. "Feedback stories" are shown between two main stories, i.e. short reportages on the changed situation of our former guests.
During the lifetime of our show, the amount exceeding 4 million Lt was donated for the needy.
This show is very popular since the very beginning. During the first two years, this show was the most popular show in all channels translating at that date (the popularity ratings were 13 - 15 %). At present, our show is one of the three most popular LTV shows.
Every year the organizers of this show arrange the "Green apple" acknowledgement concert, during which the most generous "need buyers", the survivors and the brightest individuals of Lithuania are acknowledged.
